Daft Punk ‘TRON’ Leaks Are Fake!

By on 3 August, 2010

A rep for faceless French dance music duo DAFT PUNK has confirmed that the new songs purporting to be the band’s work for Disney‘s upcoming TRON sequel are fakes.

A number of tracks which were seemingly made by the Da Funk hitmakers surfaced online last week (sorry folks, I refuse to provide a link to them).

The songs, which were posted on video sharing website YouTube.com, were said to be the dance act’s latest material to accompany new Disney epic ‘Tron: Legacy‘, which is set for release this December.

But a spokesperson for the duo has told music website Pitchfork.com has confirmed the recordings are actually fake.

There you have it!

Leaked songs sounds better than the six tracks confirmed.
    I keep watching the leaks…
