JOAN ALLEN & ALBERT FINNEY To Reprise ‘BOURNE’ Roles?

Reports have surfaced that Joan Allen and Albert Finney are in talks to reprise their roles for the upcoming ‘The Bourne Legacy‘ at Universal Pictures – according to The Hollywood Reporter!

British actor Finney played Dr. Albert Hirsch, the man who ran Treadstone‘s behavior modification program, in ‘The Bourne Ultimatum‘. Allen played CIA Deputy Director Pamela Landy, who made it her mission to bring in Matt Damon‘s character, in ‘The Bourne Supremacy‘. She later turns into something of an ally in ‘The Bourne Ultimatum‘.

At the end of ‘Ultimatum‘, we last saw Landy testifying in front of the Senate about Operation Blackbriar which lead to the arrest of Hirsch. ‘Legacy‘ will continue their roles where they left off.

Unfortunately for Bourne fans, Damon will be not involved in this new project – which now has been given to Jeremy Renner starring as a new operative. Rachel Weisz, Oscar Isaac and Edward Norton will star alongside Renner.

Tony Gilroy will be helming the project from a script which he wrote.
