Johnny Depp has admitted he hasn’t seen a script for a fifth ‘Pirates Of The Caribbean‘ movie yet, but he’s not totally against to taking to the seas again as the legendary Captain Jack Sparrow!

In an interview published in the current issue of The Hollywood Reporter magazine, Depp explains that he hasn’t seen the new Terry Rossio screenplay, and although he hasn’t refused to reprise his iconic Sparrow role, he wasn’t keen on the hectic filming schedules that he experienced with Pirates 2 and Pirates 3.

He tells THR:

“It boils down to story, script and filmmaker.

“It’s not something where I would say, ‘Let’s shoot it next month to get it out by Christmas 2012’.

“We should hold off for a bit. They should be special, just like they are special to me.”

Do we really need another to be churned out so quickly?

Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides‘ will be released on 20th May 2011.
