KEVIN COSTNER To Star In DJANGO UNCHAINED?

Kevin Costner has reportedly signed up to star in upcoming western ‘Django Unchained‘ – alongside Jamie Foxx and Samuel L. Jackson!

Helmer Quentin Tarantino is reportedly in negotiations with the 56-year-old actor for the role of Ace Woody – a sadistic trainer of slaves who pits fighters against one another – in the cowboy movie, which Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Samuel L. Jackson and Leonardo DiCaprio have already signed up to.

The movie tells the story of slave-turned-bounty hunter Django (Foxx) who takes on villains Ace and Calvin Candie (DiCaprio), the owners of a Mississippi club and ranch, after being freed by German bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz (Waltz). L.Jackson will star as Calvin‘s head slave, Stephen.

If he does join the cast, it will mark the start of a busy year for Costner as the 56 year-old is due to start filming ‘Man of Steel‘ (a reboot of the Superman movie franchise) in Vancouver, Canada, and Chicago in the next few weeks.

He will play Clark Kent‘s adoptive father Jonathan Kent in the movie, which also stars Henry Cavill as Superman and his alter-ego Clark, Amy Adams as Lois Lane and Michael Shannon as villain General Zod.

Kevin Costner and Quentin Tarantino…  An interesting mix indeed!
