Pfeiffer To Play Mother In ‘Welcome To People’ Cast.
Michelle Pfeiffer is set to star as ‘STAR TREK‘ actor Chris Pine‘s mother after joining the cast of new family drama ‘Welcome To People‘ – Entertainment Weekly reports!
The ‘Dangerous Minds‘ actress, 52, will portray Pine‘s widowed mother, whose prodigal son returns home to attend his dad’s funeral.
‘Tron: Legacy‘ beauty Olivia Wilde will star as Pine‘s girlfriend, while Elizabeth Banks will play his estranged half sister.
‘STAR TREK‘ scribe Alex Kurtzman will be making his directorial debut, and production on ‘Welcome To People‘ is due to begin next week (w/c 17th January 2011)!
