The Weinstein Company has released an international teaser trailer for ‘The Iron Lady‘, via The Guardian website. I’ve managed to find a copy of it on Youtube, which has been included below.

Directed by Phyllida Lloyd, ‘The Iron Lady‘ is an intimate portrait of Baroness Margaret Thatcher (played by Meryl Streep), the first and only female Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. One of the 20th century’s most famous and influential women, Thatcher came from nowhere to smash through barriers of gender and class in a male dominated world. And boy did she make sure that her voice was heard!

Jim Broadbent (as Denis Thatcher), Alexandra Roach, Harry Lloy, Olivia Colman, Nicholas Farrell, Susan Brown, Roger Allam, Anthony Head, Julian Wadham, Pip Torrens, Nick Dunning, Richard E Grant, David Westhead, Angus Wright and John Sessions also star in the biopic – which is set for a 16th December 2011 release in the U.S. It’ll be released in the U.K. on the 6th January, 2012.

Don’t you think this movie might get boycotted, if it were to ever reach the shores of Argentina?
