TRANSFORMERS Sequel – The Most Mistake-Ridden Movie Of 2011?

Helmer Michael Bay‘s action-packed ‘Transformers: Dark Of The Moon‘ has been singled-out as the most mistake-ridden movie of 2011!

Critical movie fans have reported 58 blunders in the third installment which starred Shia LaBeouf, six more than ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides‘.

However, the big franchise films aren’t the only ones named and shamed in MovieMistakes.com‘s nitpicking end of year poll! ‘X-Men: First Class‘ had 30 mistakes, ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2‘ with 20 mistakes, and ‘Super 8‘ came in with 17 mistakes.

Website creator, Jon Sandys, also highlighted a few of his favourite errors:

In the first scene of Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Carly is wearing a white cap as she heads up the stairs, but the hat is gone when she is shown holding a stuffed rabbit.

Bradley Cooper accidentally calls his The Hangover Part II co-star Ed Helms’ character Stu “Ed” as they flee the Russians with the monkey.

In The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1, when Bella calls Rosalie, the cell phone screen can briefly be seen before she puts it to her ear. The keypad lock screen is still visible, showing she didn’t dial anything.

What do we learn from this? Movies aren’t perfect, but it seems there are some who expect their escapism to be 100% flawless.

Each to their own!
