New Photos From Disney’s ‘OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL’!
In anticipation of the brand new trailer for Walt Disney Pictures‘ ‘Oz The Great and Powerful‘, USA Today has posted a few new images to wet out appetite! Have a look at these below.
Released on the 8th March in 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D and helmed by Sam Raimi, this fantasy adventure stars James Franco, Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz, Michelle Williams, Zach Braff, Joey King and Bruce Campbell. The story goes back to the origins of L. Frank Baum’s beloved character, the wonderful Wizard of Oz.
When Oscar Diggs (played by Franco), a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics, is hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz, he thinks he’s hit the jackpot,and fame and fortune are his for the taking. He then meets three witches, Theodora (played by Kunis), Evanora (Weisz) and Glinda (played by Williams), who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone’s been hoping for.
Engulfed by the epic problems facing the Land of Oz and its inhabitants, Oscar must find out who is good and who is evil before it is too late. Putting his magical arts to use through illusion, ingenuity, and even a bit of wizardry, Oscar transforms himself not only into the great and powerful Wizard of Oz but also into a better man!
