Are BATMAN Vs. SUPERMAN And JUSTICE LEAGUE Being Filmed Together?

JUSTICE LEAGUE and BATMAN VS, SUPERMAN Filming Together - FILM NEWS

The ‘Batman Vs. Superman‘ rumour mill is in full swing, and the latest one even has me paying attention, for the first time in a longtime. Apparently Warner Bros. could be secretly planning on making two DC Comics movies in 2014 – according to Latino Review.

A trusted source tells the movie news website that the upcoming WB/DC project that Dwanye “The Rock” Johnson has teased is a Justice League movie. The site also goes into the possible reasons why:

  • To maximize everyone’s schedules. All the principle stars are incredibly busy – Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, to name but a few examples of the actors in demand.

  • Apparently ‘Batman vs Superman‘ is likely to end with huge cliffhanger/teaser that leads right into ‘Justice League‘ and they want to be able to deliver the second movie within a year to not keep the fans waiting too long.

Whether these rumours ring true, this could well be a tough strategy that DC Comics and Warner Bros. wants to show, whereby they aim to bring some well-loved superheroes back to the big screen to eagerly awaiting fans, and ultimately to new audiences.

For now, the only way to take this rumour is with a proverbial pinch of salt, as even Latino Review admit that this news comes from a “combination of insider information and good old-fashioned speculation from folks who’ve been in the game a long, long time.”
