MICHAEL KEATON Heading To SKULL ISLAND?

FILM NEWS - MICHAEL KEATON In Talks To Join KONG: SKULL ISLAND

Fresh from his successful performance in Alejandro González Iñárritu’s ‘Birdman‘, Michael Keaton could be heading to King Kong‘s Skull Island – according to Deadline!

Apparently Keaton is in talks to join the cast of Legendary Pictures’ ‘Kong: Skull Island‘, which will be directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts and penned by John Gatins and Max Borenstein. If Keaton signs up, he would join the already-announced cast members Tom Hiddleston and J.K. Simmons.

With a 3D and IMAX 3D release date pencilled in for 10th March 2017, ‘Kong: Skull Island‘ will show the mysterious and dangerous home of the King Kong, as a team of explorers venture deep inside the treacherous, primordial island. This movie will have a brand new timeline, away from previous Kong movies, with a clear nod to the original story of the over-grown ape.

Producers Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni will work alongside Alex Garcia, with Eric McLeod who will serve as exec producer.
