Pop star Jessie J dominated the annual BT Digital Music Awards in London’s Roundhouse venue on Thursday night (29th September, 2011), taking home three top prizes!


The Do It Like a Dude singer picked up the coveted Best Female Artist and Best Newcomer prizes, as well as Best Song for Price Tag (her collaboration with rapper B.o.B).

In a post on her Twitter page during the awards, she writes:

“Wow wow wow! Im dancing around! Btdma ive just won #bestnewcomer amd #bestfemale im so happpyyyy!!!! Thank you #heartbeats (fans) for your support.”


Boy band JLS were the other big winners of the night, scooping Best Group and Best Video for Eyes Wide Shut.

Other winners at the event included Bruno Mars, who was named Best International Artist, and soul singer Adele – who landed the Best Independent Artist honour. Breakthrough Artist of the Year went to Ed Sheeran.
