STEPS Making A Poptastic Comeback?

Former British pop group STEPS are set to showcase their reunion in a new fly-on-the-wall documentary. O-M-G!

The five-piece dominated the European charts in the 1990s with such hits as Stomp, Better Best Forgotten, and Tragedy before splitting in 2001. However the singers are getting back together for a four-part U.K. TV series, which will explore their break-up, subsequent attempts at solo careers AND potential comeback plans.

Mark Sammon, Head of Factual Entertainment at the SKY TV network, says:

“We’ll document the in-fighting, jealousy and power struggles – it’s not the sugar-coated Steps we all remember.

“I’m delighted this British pop phenomenon has given us access to their stories. And we can expect tears and dramatic confrontation as they attempt to put the past behind them and re-launch Steps 10 years on from their split.”

STEPS, which included Claire Richards, Lisa Scott-Lee, Ian ‘H’ Watkins, Lee Latchford-Evans and Faye Tozer, sold more than 15 million albums during their hey-day, and even I admit I had a little dance to their stuff when I was younger.

Yes…I know!

Ian, if you’re reading this, please give us more details when you can!
