THE KILLERS To Perform Their Biggest Ever Concert!

The KILLERS Announce Their Biggest Ever Concert in 2013! - The Latest Entertainment News Today

Brandon Flowers, Dave Keuning, Mark Stoermer and Ronnie Vannucci – collectively known as THE KILLERS – have announced that they will perform at London’s Wembley Stadium on Saturday 22nd June, 2013!

This will be the largest standalone show the group will ever play and at it is their only British date next year, for the time being anyway. Wembley Stadium is the home of English football and can hold 90,000 people for matches and 105,000, standing and seating, for gigs and special events.

The four-piece, who recently released their fourth album Battle Born, conclude their current sold-out UK arena tour with two nights at London’s The 02 arena this weekend.

Tickets for THE KILLERS at Wembley Stadium are priced between £35 and £65, and you can buy them from 9am on Friday 16th November, 2012 via www.gigsandtours.com and www.ticketmaster.co.uk. Limited pre-sale tickets are available to THE KILLERS‘ fanclub, The Victims, earlier this week.

Meanwhile, Flowers has revealed he hopes to still be performing in his 60s like two of his musical heroes Sir Elton John and Bruce Springsteen.

The 31-year-old singer said:

“That urge to perform is addictive. To start with, I was fearful of it, but now a switch has been flicked and I love performing and singing. If I’m lucky enough, I’ll be around. Elton John has a new show in Vegas called ‘The Million Dollar Piano’, and it’s amazing to see.”
