ANNA WINTOUR Planning To Pen Her Memoirs?

Anna Wintour is reportedly in negotiations to write her autobiography and is said to be interviewing writers to help her put pen to paper!

The famous US Vogue editor, who has been heading the fashion publication for 23 years, has been interviewing authors to collaborate on the project, according to the New York Post.

According to insiders, Vogue‘s fashion news director Mark Holgate is at the front of the queue and is poised to help with her book. However, a spokesperson for the magazine said it is “absolutely not true” that Wintour is seeking publishers for a planned memoir.

Last week she was awarded a Legion d’Honneur by French President Nicholas Sarcozy at the Elysee Palace. The editor, who was presented with an OBE by Queen Elizabeth in 2008, received the Chevalier of the Order, the highest honour that can be awarded in France.

An array of fashion designers attended the ceremony, including Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld (who designed the couture suit she wore to accept the honour), Stefano Pilati, Donatella Versace, Tommy Hilfiger, Alber Elbaz, Franca Sozzani and Riccardo Tisci.

Speaking about the ceremony, Lagerfeld said:

“We had this very nice cocktail, where Anna made a very funny speech.”

Even though I have only read one copy of Vogue in my life (I know, I should be ashamed), I’m still interested to read about Wintour, and what makes her tick in the world of fashion!
