Celebrities Pay Tribute To STEVE JOBS.

As you would expect when an influential person passes away, a number of celebs have flooded social networking sites with their tributes to APPLE INC. co-founder STEVE JOBS – who died in California on Wednesday 5th October, 2011, aged 56.

The likes of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Eva Longoria, Kings of Leon‘s Followill, Kylie Minogue and many more have posted messages on TWITTER to mourn the loss of the former CEO of the company, who had been battling severe health issues in recent years.

The site has since been bombarded with messages from celebrities paying tribute to Jobs, who was behind the iPhone, iPad and iPod.

Terminator‘ star Schwarzenegger said:

“Steve lived the California Dream every day of his life and he changed the world and inspired all of us.”

Desperate Housewives‘ actress Longoria wrote:

“My heart goes out for the family of Steve Jobs. What an inspiration he was to us all and a creative visionary for the world.”

Other stars to leave messages included actor Zach Braff, who wrote:

“RIP Steve Jobs. A legend. A visionary innovator.”

Glee‘s Jane Lynch added:

“We will miss you, Steve Jobs. Sent lovingly from my iPhone.”

Film director Kevin Smith also paid his own tribute, writing:

“Steve Jobs! Thanks for never settling for the way things were during a life you spent showing us how things could be. O Captain! My captain!”

And finally, President Barack Obama said in an official statement:

“The world has lost a visionary. And there may be no greater tribute to Steve`s success than the fact that much of the world learned of his passing on a device he invented.”

No matter what you thought of the guy, or his work ethics, Jobs was indeed a true genius who had his finger on the pulse of the consumer, and was able to give them what they wanted – even before they knew what they wanted.

R.I.P. Steve Jobs.
