SHERYL CROW: Cancer Is Just A “Bump In The Road”!

Singer Sheryl Crow has revealed that she has a benign brain tumour, but has assured fans it was merely a “bump in the road”!

Crow, 50, told an audience about her diagnosis at a recent concert, before going into further detail during an interview with CNN.

The Country music star revealed how she discovered the tumour months ago, and although she doesn’t need surgery, the musician confirmed that she will have scans to monitor the growth.

She reassured fans on her Facebook page, saying:

“Please don’t worry about my ‘brain tumour,’ it’s a noncancerous growth. I know some folks can have problems with this kind of thing, but I want to assure everyone I’m OK.”

Crow‘s spokesperson said the tumour was a “meningioma” – a common and typically benign tumor that develops from the protective linings of the brain and the spinal cord.

Crow, who is currently on a nationwide tour of the United States, battled breast cancer several years back, while her then fiancé – Tour de France star Lance Armstrong – also fought cancer.
