The producers of Flashdance confirmed the early closure of the show in a statement, which says:

“The West End production of Flashdance at the Shaftesbury theatre will close on 15 January 2011. The producers would like to thank all those involved for their phenomenal hard work on the show.”

If you have purchased tickets for performances from 15 January 2011 onwards, then you’re advised to contact the box office or ticketing agent for a full refund.

No productions have been announced as yet to follow Flashdance The Musical at the Shaftesbury theatre.
