Murphy Confirms ‘GLEE’ Broadway Musical Project!

Ryan Murphy, the man behind ‘Glee‘, has confirmed plans to turn the U.S hit show into a Broadway musical…and auditions are being held at the moment.


Bosses at Music Theatre Intl. announced in March this year that they were in “negotiations” to turn the popular singing and dancing programme into a New York stage production. But 20th Century Fox rep Chris Alexander moved quickly to slam the claims, insisting he was “mystified” about the rumoured talks.

Now Murphy has decided to end the speculation by announcing a stage show is in the pipeline, and tells the New York Daily News that the musical is “definitely” happening!

He adds:

“I’m auditioning people now.”
