‘Xtra Factor’ for former Blue Peter presenter.

Former Blue Peter presenter, Konnie Huq, will join The Xtra Factor team as the new presenter of the ITV2 show – in time for the first auditions kicking off in Glasgow tomorrow (9th June 2010).

Huq presented Blue Peter for 11 years, a show that often challenges its presenters to work with animals, kids and large amounts of sticky-back tape – all on live TV. So you could say she has all the experience she needs to in order to deal with the ups and downs of the audition tour.

Speaking about her latest venture, she says:
