AMC Delays Fifth ‘MAD MEN’ Season Until 2012!

By on 29 March, 2011

In light of recent negotiations / heated discussions, AMC has confirmed that the fifth season of ‘Mad Men‘ will be delayed until early 2012 – according to Variety!

Talks are still going on between producer Lionsgate TV and AMC, and with creator/exec producer Matthew Weiner.

In a statement issued this morning (Tuesday 29th March 2011), AMC said:

”AMC has officially authorised production of season 5 of Mad Men, triggering our option with Lionsgate (Mad Men’s production company). While we are getting a later start than in years past due to ongoing key non-cast negotiations, Mad Men will be back for a fifth season in early 2012.”

So it seems Don Draper will have to hold off on his womanising ways and booze, for the time being.

How will he cope??
