Warner Bros. Officially Sacks Charlie Sheen From ‘TWO AND A HALF MEN’!

By on 7 March, 2011

Charlie Sheen has been formally fired from ‘Two and a Half Men‘, with Warner Bros. sending out the confirmation today – according to Variety.

The studio sent the actor a letter today informing him of the termination. Sheen had one more season on his contract with the studio for the CBS comedy, which was shut down for the rest of this season by the studio and network on 24th February 2011 because of Sheen‘s increasingly erratic behavior and hard-partying lifestyle.

Sheen had been threatening to take legal action against the studio ever since Warner Bros. TV and CBS made the decision to cancel the hit show.

Representatives for the studio said no final decision has been made about the fate of the ‘Two and a Half Men‘ on CBS next season, but the one guarantee they can give is that Sheen will not be coming back.

Can’t say this is a great surprise.
