DOCTOR WHO Season 7, Asylum of the Daleks,Trailer,Latest Entertainment News Today

A brand new image has emerged from the upcoming new series of DOCTOR WHO, which reminds us all that Amy Pond (played by Karen Gillan) will be leaving the series. But is this how she goes?

The flame-haired Doctor Who companion is set to leave half-way through the series, but programme bosses have failed to give any clues as to how – and quite rightly so! This seventh series sees Matt Smith returning as the iconic Doctor for his third series, and the title of the first episode will be called ‘Asylum of the Daleks‘ and the trailer below shows that he’s never too far from danger!

The BBC will be showing a teaser of what’s to come on BBC One tonight (2nd August, 2012) at 8pm as part of a campaign showcasing clips from all five episodes of the first half of the new series.

The five episodes will then be followed by a Christmas special featuring actress Jenna-Louise Coleman and the last eight episodes of the series will be screened in 2013.

But for those longing for a peek into what’s to come for the Doctor, check out the trailer below:

I’m not ashamed to admit that I’m a WHOIAN and obviously thought the trailer was fab. Can’t wait to see this.
