THE GOLDEN GLOBES - 2014 - The Winners!

Hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, the 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards gave some surprises and some expected outcomes.
American Hustle‘ won Best Motion Picture – Musical Or Comedy as well as Best Actress – Musical Or Comedy (Amy Adams) and Best Supporting Actress (Jennifer Lawrence). British production ‘12 Years A Slave‘ took the Best Picture – Drama award. Other film winners include Jared Leto (Best Supporting Actor), Leonardo DiCaprio (Best Actor – Musical or Comedy), Matthew McConaughey (Best Actor – Drama), Cate Blanchett (Best Actress – Drama), Spike Jonze (Best Screenplay) and Alfonso Cuaron (Best Director).
Small screen winners ‘Breaking Bad‘ and ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine‘ took the top television prizes, while actors Bryan Cranston (for ‘Breaking Bad‘), Andy Samberg (for ‘Brookyln Nine-Nine‘), Robin Wright (for ‘House of Cards‘) and co-host Amy Poehler (for ‘Parks and Recreation‘) won Golden Globe awards for their acting performances.
Woody Allen was honoured with the Cecil B. DeMille Award for “outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment” during the 2014 Golden Globes ceremony.
