MATTHEW MCCONAUGHEY Set To Star As A Retired Stripper!

Actor Matthew McConaughey has set his sights on wearing as little as possible on his next movie role, namely as a retired male stripper – according to Variety!

 

The Steven Soderbergh movie, called ‘Magic Mike‘, will chart the lives of exotic male dancers and is based on Channing Tatum‘s own brief stint as a tease dancer at the age of 19. McConaughey will play the owner of a strip club where Tatum‘s character works.

‘Striptease‘ star Demi Moore and British actor Alex Pettyfer are also on board to co-star!
 

‘Magic Mike‘ is set to begin production later this month (August 2011, and is due for release in 2012.

Not really sure what to make of this, but it sounds a tad tacky! Harsh, I know…
