Silver Keen To Develop A New BEN 10 Live-Action Movie!

Movie producer Joel Silver is setting his sights on developing a live-action flick based on cartoon hero ‘BEN 10‘!

 

‘The Matrix‘ trilogy producer has signed on to adapt the shift-shaping character’s TV series into a big screen project.
 

He tells Variety:

“I think we have to try something fresh and go at it in a way that stays true to the original material. I have a five-year old and a nine-year old, so it’s somewhere between them.”

And he hopes this project will be a lot more successful than his last attempt to turn a cartoon into a movie, adding:

“I tried to do (something similar) with Speed Racer and failed miserably. You always learn more from the ones that don’t work than the ones that do work.”

Never mind Ben 10… He should focus on finding another way of bringing He-Man back to the big screen!
