MICHAEL FASSBENDER: ‘PROMETHEUS’ Is A Must-See Movie!
British star Michael Fassbender believes the forthcoming ‘ALIEN‘ prequel ‘Prometheus‘ will be a ”must-see” movie this year!
Obviously you would expect any actor to say this of their work, but the in-demand actor says he was delighted to be able to take part in the Ridley Scott-directed prequel to the hit Sci-Fi ‘ALIEN‘ franchise – alongside Noomi Rapace, Charlize Theron and fellow Brit Idris Elba – because the script was “really intelligent” and he knows it will be a great flick!
In an interview with Instyle.co.uk, he said:
“‘Prometheus’ is the must-see film of 2012! I play the humanoid android. The first thing that struck me was a good script. Really intelligent script. A real thriller. Real anticipation.
“The first alien had that. The atmosphere was thick. You knew that something was going to happen. Which is very rare that you can read that in a script. And also, Ridley Scott is the master. He’s amazing. Really something else to watch him work.”
The ‘X-Men: First Class‘ star also enjoyed the collaborative directorial style of Ridley, as he never felt “stupid” for suggesting something, adding:
“No idea is stupid for him. He’ll let you bring it to the floor and have a go at it. I really, really enjoyed working with him. And of course the cast.”
I think it’s safe to say that Sci-Fi fans around the world will be looking forward this!
