JAMES FRANCO To Release A Novel Based On His Hollywood Life!

Actor James Franco is to release his debut novel, with a plot based on his life in Hollywood!

 

The ‘127 Hours‘ star is said to have juggled his hectic big-screen career with classes at America’s prestigious Yale University, obtaining a doctorate in English and landing a place at the University of Houston to study a second PhD in literature and creative writing.

Now he’s put his talent for storytelling to good use by penning his first piece of fiction, entitled Actors Anonymous, which is due to be published by Amazon.com later this year (2012) after being acquired by the online retailer’s fiction editor, Ed Park.
 

But this isn’t his first stab at creative writing, last year (2010) Scribner published a collection of Franco‘s short stories in a volume called Palo Alto.

Franco is currently filming ‘Lovelace‘, a biopic about porn star Linda Lovelace, in which he plays Hugh Hefner.
