TV NEWS: Billy Crystal on Jay Leno's Final TONIGHT SHOW - 2014

After 22 years, US television host Jay Leno wrapped up his final episode of ‘The Tonight Show‘, with a little help from a few familiar guests and friends.

Leno, 63, gave a difficult and emotional speech as he thanked viewers for their loyalty during his tenure as host. You can watch this clip below:

In a fitting finale, high-profile guests such as Billy Crystal and Oprah Winfrey helped to put on a musical number, singing So Long Farewell to Leno. The song can be found in the video below (after the 2 minute mark), Crystal, Jack Black, Winfrey, Kim Kardashian, Chris Paul, Sheryl Crow, Carol Burnett and Jim Parsons.

Even President BARACK OBAMA sent in a recorded message, offering to make Leno an ambassador to Antarctica.

He added:

“I hope you’ve got a warm coat, funny man.”

Fellow comedian and late-night host Jimmy Fallon, 39, will take over the show on 17 February, 2014 in New York.

Leno was briefly replaced on ‘The Tonight Show‘ by comedian Conan O’Brien in 2009, but returned to the show in 2010.
