ADRIANNE PALICKI Named As NBC’s WONDER WOMAN!

ARIANNE PALICKI has been chosen as NBC's WONDER WOMAN - TOMORROW'S NEWS - The Latest Entertainment News Today!

Friday Night Lights‘ actress Adrianne Palicki has been officially named  as the next WONDER WOMAN</strong> – according to Variety!

Palicki is set to play the title role in the NBC pilot from David E. Kelley and Warner Bros. TV. The pilot has been written by Kelley and will be directed by Jeffrey Reiner. Kelley and Bill D’Elia will serve as exec producers.

Palicki starred on ‘Friday Night Lights‘ for three seasons as a Texas high school student with ambitions of going to college. The actress returned to the just concluded series for the final two episodes. She also featured in Fox‘s ‘Lone Star‘ which, despite being a critical hit, was axed after only two episodes due to disappointing ratings. Her next big screen outing will be on the upcoming movie ‘Red Dawn‘.

Perhaps the definitive Wonder Woman has always been Lynda Carter, when she played the crime-fighting superhero in the ABC series from 1976-79. Here’s hoping Palicki gets the chance to inspire a new generation!
