The Black Eyed Peas are teaming up with ‘AVATAR‘ director James Cameron to film a 3D movie following their world tour.

The Boom Boom Pow hitmakers handpicked the filmmaker to helm the full-length movie project, simply because he’s “the biggest director”.

The footage will be released in 2011 and will utilise the same t echnology that Cameron used on his epic movie ‘Avatar‘.

Bandmember will.i.am says:

“We have the biggest director, because we ar e the biggest group on the planet. The Peas are filming it in South America. People will be able to see us in the theatre with the 3D glasses and everything.

“We’ve toured from America and Europe, to the Middle East, South Americ a, Asia and Africa. It’s not like we go, ‘Yo, we are international, you know what I’m saying? London and Paris!’ Nah, that’s just two cities. We want to go across the planet.”

Is the world ready for 3-D Peas?
