Renner Tipped To Be The Next JASON BOURNE!
Man-of-the-moment Jeremy Renner appears to have emerged from the shortlist of seven actors to have tested for the lead role in Universal Pictures‘ Jason Bourne spin-off, ‘The Bourne Legacy‘ – according to Latino Review!
The site states that helmer Tony Gilroy originally wanted actor Oscar Isaac for the main character, but the studio apparently rejected his choice. Now it appears that they’ve settled on Renner with an offer about to be sent out!
If this is true, it means Renner would have beaten the likes of ‘Tron: Legacy‘ star Garrett Hedlund, ‘Transformers‘ action man Shia LeBeouf, ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine‘ star Taylor Kitsch and non-American contenders such as Aussie actor Joel Edgerton and British actors Luke Evans and Dominic Cooper – all are reportedly being considered for the part.
