CHARLIZE THERON Heading Into GILLIAN FLYNN’s ‘DARK PLACES’?
There’s been a buzz around a possible movie adaptation of Gillian Flynn‘s novel Dark Places, and even though Amy Adams was initially thought to be in talks to join the project, it now appears that Charlize Theron is frame to lead – according to Deadline!
The story centres on a woman who, at seven-years old, survived the brutal massacre of her family and testified against her brother as the murderer. Twenty-five years later, the Kill Club, a secret society obsessed with solving notorious crimes, brings her to question and confront the truth of what took place that day.
No firm decisions have been made on Theron‘s involvement, but the word on the street is that she is interested to both star in and produce the movie, which helmer Gilles Paquet-Brenner is set to direct – with a planned lensing start date of March 2013.
