SIMON COWELL Not Returning To UK X FACTOR?

Music mogul Simon Cowell is reportedly never returning to the UK version of ‘The X Factor‘, according to his close friend Sinitta.

Cowell has apparently told ITV bosses he will not sit on the judging panel for the new series of the singing contest, as he is too busy launching a version in America.

His long-time pal, Sinitta, told the Daily Star Sunday:

“He won’t ever come back to the UK version. His focus is on US X Factor now. It’s not like Simon will do one series over there and then come back once it’s established. He’ll be staying over there indefinitely now.”

Referring to reports that he may appear on both shows, she adds:

“As a mentor he needs to be around to support his acts. If he spends a week in the UK, whichever act got voted off the American show would be pretty fed-up and angry.”

TAKE THAT singer Gary Barlow has already been rumoured to replace his judging position on the UK show, along with reports that Alesha Dixon is set to take Cheryl Cole‘s seat, after Cole was offered to join Cowell on the U.S. version of the hit show. The Daily Mail have suggested that Cowell is tipped to be on the verge of signing Dixon, after the 32-year-old singer reportedly met X Factor bosses on Wednesday after weeks of rumoured talks.

Is this yet another person hired by Cowell to stir his PR pot? He has denied these reports in the past, but things can change.
