Kylie Minogue Lands Movie Role!
Kylie Minogue has nabbed her first movie role in almost 10 years, as a tattoo-clad rock chick!
Who can forget when the Spinning Around hitmaker shot to fame in Aussie soap opera ‘Neighbours‘ in the 1980s…before launching a hugely successful singing career.
The 1990s saw Minogue taking on roles in ‘The Delinquents‘ and ‘Street Fighter‘ (not one of her moments of glory), followed by a part as the Green Fairy in the 2001 movie ‘Moulin Rouge!‘.
Now she has landed a new movie role in ‘Jack And Diane‘, opposite Juno Temple, Jena Malone and Elvis Presley’s granddaughter Riley Keough, and she jetted to New York this week to start filming her scenes.
Pictures below show Minogue dressed in ripped skinny jeans, a cropped vest and ankle boots – and with her neck, back and arms covered in fake (don’t worry, they ARE fake) tattoos.
The movie, which follows the story of two teenage girls in New York City, is due for release in 2011.
