Entertainment Weekly has managed to bag an exclusive interview with director Wes Craven, and the official poster is revealed!

1 – 2 – 3…. Now everybody SCREEEEEEAAM!

Dimension Films has given the go-ahead for Scream 4, and filming is set to begin this spring with a release date of April 2011 (over a decade since the release of Scream 3.
Wes Craven will direct and Neve Campbell, David Arquette and Courteney Cox Arquette will reprise their roles along with a group of younger potential victims.

Bob Weinstein (Dimension Films chief) said:

” ‘Scream’ has been such an integral part of Dimension’s history, and I look forward to continuing the franchise.”

The next big Dimension movie will be Piranha 3D, which is due for release this August!
