Rowland Delays New Album Release!

Fans of former Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowland will have to wait longer to hear her next solo album, because it has been pushed back until later this year.

Rowland‘s self-titled debut with Universal/Motown Records was originally due for release on 21 September 2010, but the Work chart-topper needs more time to complete the project. And she predicts the record will be ready for a mid-autumn release.

Rowland confirmed the delay to U.S. radio program the Big Tigger Morning Show, saying:

“I’m just making sure everything is going to be absolutely perfect… I’m still recording.”

This will be Rowland‘s third solo album since Destiny’s Child announced its split in 2005.
