ADELE To Make A Live Return At The 2012 BRIT AWARDS!

ADELE will be making a return to the live stage at the 2012 BRIT AWARDS - TOMORROW'S NEWS - The Latest Entertainment News Today!

ADELE will make her UK live comeback at the 2012 Brit Awards ceremony – it was announced at the nominations bash in London on Thursday (12th January, 2012)!

The London-born soul singer managed to dominate charts both in the UK and across the Atlantic in 2011, but her success was blighted by an on-going vocal chord problem. As a result, the 23 year-old was forced to scrap 10 scheduled dates in North America and 6 shows in the UK in order to stop bleeding from a benign polyp on her vocal chords.

However, her recovery has gone to plan and she is heavily tipped to sing at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on the 12th February, 2012. After that, she will take to the stage at the Brit Awards – the scene of her memorable rendition of Someone Like You in 2011.

Other acts due to perform live at the ceremony, which takes place at London’s O2 Arena, will be Coldplay, Rihanna, Bruno Mars, Noel Gallagher and Ed Sheeran – who notched four nominations including Best British Album.

Adele is up for three prizes at the event, and is heavily tipped to win Album of the Year for her record-breaking. Reacting to her multiple nominations, the singer tweeted:

“F*cking happy, thank you for the nods x”

In other related news, bookmakers Paddy Power have suspended bets on the singer winning in the Best British Female category because she’s too much of a favourite to take home the gong!

A spokesperson says:

“It would be unfair to take a penny of anyone’s money when it comes to the Best Brit Female award because Adele is such a shoe-in for it. We can’t see a way on for anyone else and we would be offering ridiculous odds if we did price the market.”

Adele, who has been priced at 5/1 to scoop all three of the awards she’s been nominated for, faces competition from Jessie J, Florence + The Machine, Laura Marling and Kate Bush for Best British Female prize.
