CHARLIE’S New ‘ANGELS’?

 
Could these be Charlie‘s brand new Angels? Minka Kelly and Rachael Taylor are currently in negotiations to join Annie Ilonzeh (pictured centre) in ABC‘s ‘Charlie’s Angels‘ pilot!
 

The trio of sexy female sleuths are set to return in the U.S network’s reboot of the classic hit TV series, where Kelly will play the Marisa character (which will be renamed), Ilonzeh as Kate, and Taylor as Abby.

Producers Sony Pictures TV and Drew Barrymore apparently went through a long and tiresome search for the 3 beautiful leads, and they have reworked Kelly‘s role to fit her. In the current breakdown, the character, previously named Marisa, is described as a former U.S. Marine, a weapons expert trained in all forms of hand-to-head combat and a “neat freak”.

Taylor‘s Abby is described as “the youngest and sassiest of the Angels, the beautiful and privileged daughter of a notorious Wall Street crook and is an expert con artist herself, as well as a Krav Maga expert”.

Alfred Gough and Miles Millar penned the script for the ‘Charlie’s Angels‘ pilot and are executive producing with Leonard Goldberg (exec producer of the original series), Barrymore and Nancy Juvonen.

Any thoughts? Could you imagine these lovely actresses as icons for future generations, just like the original line-up?
