Golden Globe Nominations 2013 - TOMORROW'S NEWS - The Latest Entertainment News Today!

Steven Spielberg is presumably celebrating following the news that his presidential drama ‘Lincoln‘ has notched seven nods at this year’s Golden Globe nominations, including Best Director, Best Drama and Best Actor.

Argo‘ (directed by Ben Affleck) and critically-acclaimed ‘Django Unchained‘ (directed by Quentin Tarantino) follow closely with five nominations apiece, while ‘Les Miserables‘, ‘Silver Linings Playbook‘ and ‘Zero Dark Thirty‘ gained four nods.

British acting royalty Judi Dench (‘The Best Marigold Hotel‘) and Maggie Smith (‘Quartet‘) have also been recognised for acting nods, as has Helen Mirren is for her role in ‘Hitchcock‘.

Also flying the British flag at the Golden Globes is ADELE for her ‘SKYFALL‘ title theme song, which is adding to the James Bond movie’s trail of success since its UK in October 2012.

Next year, Jodie Foster will receive the Cecil B DeMille award – the highest honour at the Golden Globes, and well deserved it is too!

You’ll be able to see who wins what at the ceremony, hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, on the 13th January, 2013. But for now, here is the full list of nominees for the 2013 Golden Globes!
